cruisin!

noah got his first car this week! well, not quite, but he doesn't know that. at the rate time is flying, it won't be too long before he is driving!

he has loved cruising around the house and has gotten pretty fast. we are so lucky because we have all tile/wood floors and a huge foyer for him to ride. pretty soon, he will have a little tricycle in tow.

superstar . . .

noah has a favorite toy... he got it when he was four months old and has been loving it ever since.. and i have been somewhat addicting to buying toys off craigs list.. save money (although i spend a hour sanitizing them, that's besides the point). it's the fisher price superstar sing along musical stage and it has kept noah entertained for many hours over the past few months!

playdate

today, we had a play date with manny and dominic. oddly enough, manny and noah were right next door to one another in the hospital when they were born. manny is the son of a good friend, jenny, who i met back in october of 2009 at work. manny was born on 12/28 and noah was born on 12/29 making them just a few hours apart. dominic is the son of a dear, friend of mine, brandy who i have grown close with as both of our boys are adopted. dominic was born in march so he is a little younger, but not by much and he can keep up with the other two boys. they all had a fun time playing with each other while we talked and ate lunch. noah loves playing with other kiddos.. and it tires him out. but when we got home, he was running on fumes because he just didn't want to nap. noah is just like his mommy.. gets tired and grumpy with no sleep! 

bath time!

noah loves bathtime... he knows it comes the second after he is done eating... yes, he is that messy. so i start the bath and he always stands up and pats on the edge of the tub for it to hurry up.

n's first tooth

n's first little tooth decided to make an appearance last weekend.. and it's about time because the poor baby has been having a difficult time with the pain :( we definitely knew it was coming in because for weeks he has been pulling at his ears, gets fussy in the late afternoon and wakes up a few times at night... but mommy actually loves getting up to rock him back to sleep.

last dip of the year

if i say so myself, i think noah has really enjoyed his first summer :D.. we have had so much fun with him and he loved swimming.. and floating along in his little raft. we went over to his aunt tracy's pool to officially end the summer over labor day.

water was cold... noah didn't care, but mommy was a wimp. and look very closely at the second picture.. yes, that is his first little tooth. a post on that will soon follow.

can't wait to see you next spring in the pool! we love you more than words can ever say!

birthday party - round two

after the morning fun at the waterpark, we went home, n took a little nap and we were off to little ms. lucy's first birthday party! ladonna is a close, sweet friend of mine who i used to work with at my old company. we bonded instantly as we both were seeking God's blessing to begin our family. and after many years, her dream came true in august 2009. she adopted sweet little lucy, just like our special man. and oddly enough, they had a very similar situation as we had earlier this year, and even had our lawyer who is such a man of God. lucy cannot be any luckier to have ladonna as her mommy. n had a good time at the party- i think he thought some of her presents were his. happy first birthday to little lucy :)

a boy and his "dawk"

recently, noah's favorite thing to do is to stand up on the back door to watch suki sit on the patio (who just goes out simply to stare into space). he talks to her while pounding on the back door saying "a dawk". his spunky little personality is grows more and more everyday. he is our little ham!
