why i take pictures.

love our trips to the zoo..

before heading in... this is the only way we can do family pics pretty much!

every time we go to the zoo, noah loves it a little more than the time before. he loves to sit in his stroller or wagon and watch all the animals.. likes to say hi to them through the glass, loves looking at the fish, and most of all.. RUN. note i only got a few pictures because most of the time one of us would be pushing his stuff while the other one was chasing him around. he's a wild one :)

and loves to ride the merry go round. as we were passing the merry go round, noah screamed 'waaait' we promised to go after we saw the goats. 

as we were leaving, noah walked up to a group of boys that were on a field trip and went and shook their hands. it was so cute!

draw-rings

after we get home at night, we always go out back and play. it consists of lots and lots of laughs, bubbles, running, listening to yo gabba, playing in the sandbox, and of course, chalk drawing. he loves to draw. the main reason i think he loves it so much is because of toy story when woody talks to etch. he acts that part out every time. and he doesn't say 'draw' normal.. it consists of him saying it in a very high pitched voice while he dances and shakes his head. he is such a silly little boy. everytime we go out, he says 'woody' and 'draw'. i am not much of an artist (see for yourself, haha) but i don't think he seems to mind.

ice cream park time.

the other week, noah's throat was hurting so i took him to get an ice cream cone. we took it to the park. he carried for almost 30 minutes. he took it on the swing. he played ball with some older kids and would pick the ball up with one hand, cone in another. it was just something so small but it was so big to me.

choo choo.. fun with Thomas the Train!!

on friday, we spent the day with thomas. nana took off to spend time with us all. we all had so much fun. noah loved the bounce house.. he kept saying 'more pretty please please' he had a blast. he could have stayed there the whole time. he loved the train set up as well. before too long, it was time to board the train. he had a few 'episodes' while waiting in line. at times the little guy can be hard to wrangle. but its all worth it :) every kick, scream, and sometimes hair pulling. his sweetness outweighs it all. anyways.. he was a bit of a wiggle worm and at some points, i was scared he would fly out that open window. but i had a pretty good grip on him. the three cookies (yes three) kept him very happy. was so glad i packed those bad boys away in his backpack. after the train ride he was thrilled to be free. he ran up to the clown and fit right in with the big boys. then while we were leaving, he managed to do his silly dance to the 'party rock' song. we all were busting out laughing. he is so silly. so glad i got that on video.

more easter.

noah got a bunch of goodies from the easter bunny. i've been wanting to get him a picnic table for a while now and thought it would be a good thing to tell the easter bunny to get him :)
needless to say, he has loved it so much. i have a feeling it won't be going outside like i had planned. he loved his toy story coloring books and the little magical capsule thingys. he thought it was the coolest thing ever.

we went to mamaw and papaws house (minus sick daddy) to meet them, gran & g and nana & pap. it was POURING down rain. it did for hours. it messed up the egg hunt but noah didn't seem to mind. he was just so thrilled to 'play' in the rain. luckily, they have a huge covered area for their cars so it was really neat to play under when it wasn't lightning. gran managed to get some really cool pictures of us :)

when we came back in, we opened up his easter baskets. he got all things TOY STORY. he got some awesome buzz and woody shoes, a buzz shirt, a buzz on a skateboard, army men, a toy story marker coloring book pack (and his grandparents didn't coordinate either)! and he got a little picnic table for mamaw and papaw's house. he loves putting anything together and is such a great little helper! we got a few pizzas and had a great time as a family.. and needless to say, noah is always the center of attention :)

 

HAPPY EASTER !

easter

we went to church to celebrate Jesus' resurrection on Easter. daddy got the flu and was at home literally for a week solid. we missed him so. we'll have to get more pics later. noah always loves going to church and playing with all the kiddos. when we got home, we ate dinner and then i decided to let noah 'plant' magic jelly beans that would turn into lollipops overnight. at first, he wasn't too interested in digging in the grass so we turned to the sandbox. he went totally nuts! he loved digging and hiding the jelly beans. then he decided he wanted the rest to go down his slide - that kept him busy for a long time! then we picked them up, put them in the sandbox for later.

And Jesus Christ our Lord was shown to be the Son of God when God powerfully raised him from the dead by means of the Holy Spirit. Through Christ, God has given us the privilege and authority to tell Gentiles everywhere what God has done for them, so that they will believe and obey him, bringing glory to his name. -Romans 1:4-5
