we all headed up to the city’s annual tree lighting. you had such a wonderful time. we missed you mamaw and papaw!

 

 you were so excited to see rudolph and frosty. we had to wait a while to get on the train and you still aren’t the best at waiting so i spun you around until we got very dizzy.

 

 

then we went for a ride in the train and you saw Santa. after we got off daddy, nana, and pap were there and we all went to listen to the live music where you managed to dance for a long time. my how you love to dance! you dance everywhere. Then we went to do a few arts and crafts where you got your NOSE PAINTED like rudoplh you were sooo excited for that. then after we told our goodbyes, we went to pick up some cain’s chicken and went to look at some Christmas lights.

your new favorite... to wear momma's boots and now you found an old cowboy hat. you walk around and say you are woody :)

we went to the park tonight to have our acorn races we started a few weeks ago. this kept you busy for almost 30 minutes. it was just me, you, and three acorns. then after we went to look at Christmas lights for the first time this year. you loved it and kept saying, “more Christmas lights please” then you got a little upset and said “get out like trick or treating”! silly boy.

thanksgiving weekend, we decorated. this year was so so much fun. you bounced up and down when daddy took the tree down. you helped hang the decorations ever so carefully. i love seeing you experience Christmas. it is truly magical.

E - L - F

 

ELF is your new all time favorite. I had no idea you would like it so much. now, you know most of the funny parts by heart. this is your first movie to really love that is not a cartoon. we love watching and quoting it with you too. your favorite part is “fruit spray, ahhh it burns, scared to go up, big potty!” it will be on repeat for many weeks. we love acting it out. i have a feeling you will be into acting – you are very dramatic at such a young age!

thankful. we are so incredibly thankful for you, little bear. every single minute of every single day. we are so grateful for you and what you bring to this world.

 

we are also so thankful that papaw got released from rehab so he could spend the day with us. you were so so excited to see him and mamaw. you have missed them so much while they have been at the hospital. you also got to see teddye and uncle shawn. you were happy to see them too :) we had a great day! we were sad that nana and pap were sick so we didnt get to run by there for dinner. after lunch you played outside (was pretty warm, in the 70's) and played on your jeep and had a first... playing in the leaves! you loved it!
