i heart cheerios

noah absolutely LOVES cheerios! he eats them everyday.. you can just ask him if he wants them, and he starts clapping and saying his favorite word.. 'yeah, yeah' and he'll get his giraffe/cheerio neck. he will watch us walk to the pantry and reach up top. as we reach up, he will stretch his neck so he can see better over the counter. silly boy.

my birthday.. part two

we always make cupcakes for my birthday.. i usually get strawberry.. mmmm. when we got home from the fun today, noah found this balloon i got for his daddy's birthday a few weeks ago and marched around the house with it! noah seemed to like the cupcake.. see for yourself.

noah LOVES balloons.. and loves saying it too!

my birthday

my birthday is today.. and i really feel old now! i couldn't have asked for a better birthday present... spending all day with my two boys. we took the day off and decided to head out to the dallas aquarium. we have never been there before and had lots of fun!

the sea otters were his favorite, one kept coming up to him and he loved it. they moved way too fast but managed to get a decent pic or two. we saw the cutest little monkeys ever! they were pygmy monkeys and are the smallest monkeys in the world. we wanted to put one in my purse but didn't think that would have went over well. he liked the flamingos and two were fighting and he thought it was hilarious! the shark tank was my absolute favorite. it was so beautiful. i told jim i wanted one in our house. he told me to be realistic. hmmph! he also really enjoyed the fishes from all over the world. he kept trying to grab them and wasn't sure why he wasn't getting anything. he thought it was funny because he could see me on the other side of the tank and kept waving at me. overall, we had a blast.. it was the best birthday yet :) i love my little family. i am so blessed!

fifth swim..

a few pictures of noah's fifth time in swimming! he loves it more and more and more as the weeks progress. and he has some serious muscles... he can literally hold on to the monkey bars for minutes on end. we hold our arms under and wait for him to let go but rarely does! we still have a long way to go until his graduation.. and hopefully a next class!
