happy day.

mothers day post (like 2 months late).

for mother's day we had all the mother's over. daddy made the best french toast ever. noah even liked it. but it had powdered sugar. lots of powdered sugar. he also made some omeletts which i heard were good but i only eat eggs. and cheese. i am picky just like noah. it was so nice to have all the moms and grandmas over. noah loved it. he loves all of his grandmas and great grandmas.

but most of all you love your momma. my heart fills up when i am with you and when we are apart and i think of you. i love being your momma. i love how you run through the house calling out, "momma, momma, mommaaaa" only for you to run up to me and give me a hug like you haven't seen me in hours. i love your silly little grin when we lock eyes and you grin and say hi momma.

you were worth the wait. i am the mommy to the best, sweetest, silliest, funniest, goofiest, most caring little boy. every day i think it can't get any better but the next day it really does.
i love you to the moon and back.

we will never forget how much you love(d) Toy Story. here you are over the past few months with your buddies. you are such a little boy, you always have one (or two or three) of your friends with you. you know them all by name and can reenact a scene from any of the movies. that's our boy!

kick off to the summer.

first splash pad of the year

we kicked off memorial day weekend with a trip to the waterpark. noah loved it SO much last year and we were really excited about going. he was too. he remembered the second we pulled up and was so happy to be there. the boys floated around in the pirate area and noah got to float on daddy. they pretended to be pirates. noah loved that so much. we didn't end up staying very long at all ... alhough it was warm outside, the water was coooold. but we will have many more trips up here i know :)

second campout.

when daddy headed out to go grocery shopping, he found a CARS sleeping bag and had to get it for the campout. you loved it!! you were so excited and thought it was even cooler to be in your tent with an actual sleeping bag!

deep thoughts .... with buzz lightyear

a quick trip to the park.

on one of the ways we go home, we pass a park. noah doesn't like when we pass it. so, many of those times we stop. it's hard when he says so sweetly, "park, pleaseee momma" its either this or target. the other way, we go near a target, he knows, and says, "ta-get toy threeee" and will cry if we don't go. he just loves getting in the cart and cruising around. anyways, we both had a great time.

you attempted to climb a tree for the first time ever! and you hung from it with momma holding you lightly while you hollered out like a monkey. and now instead of the normal baby swing.. you wanted to try the big boy swing. sniff sniff. you are getting waaay too big - too fast! i know that you will grow up right before my eyes little one and i am savoring and loving every single day with you.. and taking lots and lots of pictures to remember these days where there was nothing better in the world than us swinging and laughing and watching the moon.
