hoppy easter.. part two

after we went to nana and pap's.. we went over to mamaw and papaw's house for more Easter fun. n chowed down more and had pizza and his favorite.. watermelon. i swear when we left he was pounds heavier! and he wasn't too interested in the egg hunt.. he was in need of his nap.. maybe next year!

hoppy easter... part one

the easter bunny came and got noah lots of cool gifts! this year he got a little zebra.. closest thing the easter bunny could find similar to a cow (his FAV) some crayons, elmo video, animal crackers, some puff-puffs, some pj's, and some awesome noah's ark storyblocks.

noah thought it was funny to put it on him.. he didn't seem to even notice. 

all ready for the big day ahead..

investigating the basket with nana.. he got a swimsuit, hat, and some bubbles
and daddy got some chocolate in his basket :)

and he's off.. 

after we played for a while, we ate our Easter lunch and noah pigged out with the 
mashed potatoes, ham, and rolls. then, we were done, noah decided to test out
the bubbles he got in his basket, he loves to chase them! 

trip to the park

we met G tonight for a fast walk around the park and hopes of feeding ducks.. well, we did one of those.. we went to the park but the ducks were crazy! they weren't the cute little ducks you see in the picture below! there was a herd of them and poor n was terrified, they were so loud.. guess they hadn't got fed in a while. but when i told the story to jim, he said a duck had chased him last week while he was running. haha! back to the story.. we took a fast swing and n was entertained with his new thing he loves.. his squeeze applesauce which kept him entertained and messy. then we packed it up just in time before the rain! then we grabbed some pei wei takeout and ran to the bookstore to get him some new books.. overall a productive night :)

favorite thing to do..

noah loves to play in my makeup drawer. it is so funny to watch him because he will grab anything and everything in my makeup drawer, take a look at it and then carefully place it on the stool, then start it all over again. then after he is done, he'll grab one and start running around the house with it.

a special day

this is my second mother’s day. God has blessed me tremendously with you, my sweet little boy. noah, you have changed me for the better. you make me smile and my heart lights up being with you. i love seeing the boy you are becoming and watch your spunky little personality develop. i live to make you laugh and dance and act silly.. anything to make you laugh… and you do so, uncontrollably. it makes my heart leap.

you have shown me how to love immensely.

i am grateful for God making me the mother of you, noah james. and I am so thankful for your birthparents that chose us to raise you... for making me your mom. we are all tied together for the love of one very special little boy.


i will live to make you smile, to make you laugh, be there when you are hurting, be there for you when you are happy, to be there when you fall, to be there when you are up, and everything in between. you are my light, my joy, my hope and my miracle. i cannot imagine my life without you. i can't wait to watch you grow up and be there with you every step of the way, cheering you on. i love you up to the moon and back.

i heart cheerios

noah absolutely LOVES cheerios! he eats them everyday.. you can just ask him if he wants them, and he starts clapping and saying his favorite word.. 'yeah, yeah' and he'll get his giraffe/cheerio neck. he will watch us walk to the pantry and reach up top. as we reach up, he will stretch his neck so he can see better over the counter. silly boy.
