a momma daddy noah zoo date.

today was a beautiful sunny day so why not go out to the zoo? you were soo excited all morning and kept bouncing through the house saying,"lets go to the zoo please please pleaseeeeee" we haven't been in about three months so you were pumped! daddy hasn't been since it was over 100 degrees and was really excited as well. 

you did so good today! we even ran into your school teachers enjoying the day too when we got to the lions.  you said. " lion king momma" they were playing when we walked up and that was neat to see. 

  

and now the most memorable thing that i have ever encountered at the zoo. too bad daddy got lost from us and didn't know where we were. we walked up to the gorilla window with a few gorillas. one saw you and came on down right to the window. he liked you. you had no idea because i put you up there and tried to shoot it as much as i could. he sat there and posed and would move his head around you when you would block him. it was incredible. he then tapped the glass at your head as if he was trying to get your attention. i have always seen gorillas at the zoo but not like this. he was interacting with us and pressed his nose right up to the glass. it was the coolest thing i have ever seen. then when others came up to look, he jumped back up to where he was swinging around before. it was incredible!

the other night after momma put you to bed, i heard you laughing. i slowly opened the door to find you reading a book so sweet with your flashlight. you are getting too big too fast.

day at mamaw and papaws

today we went and spent the afternoon at your mamaw and papaws. my how you miss them. we hung out, watched some tv, read some books, and laughed at your new funny thing... dust bunnies. you thought it was the funniest thing ever. you are so lucky to have your mamaw and papaw. they love you so much. then we went and got some tcby to kick off the weekend.

we went this past weekend to your favorite - lowes (or paint store as you call it) some girl scouts were right at the door so we had to buy a box. or three. you were a fan of the peanut butter cookies. me too. 

we got some good paint samples for your STARWARS big boy room. you have been talking about it since we told you about your big boy room. this momma has a lot of work to do but it will all be worth it to see your face. 

can't believe it is time for your big boy room. no more baby stuff. but you will always be my baby. always.

happy birthday gran!

since mamaw and papaw can’t watch you right now, gran has been watching you which is a huge help for mommy and daddy. it means so much to have such a special family member to watch you during the day. we are so fortunate.

gran helps us all out so much by picking you up from school and dropping you off, to fixing a gate outside so you wouldn’t get in the electrical box, and building your brand new playroom!

last night of 2012//

on the last day of 2012, we stayed in bed. all day. in our pjs. and watched movies. monsters inc. toy story 3. momma finally got out to get dinner for us - our favorite, cane's. but when momma got there it was closed! ack. so we got zaxby's instead. you ate some chicken and then played with your new star wars christmas toy  from g and gran. you are the cutest, you hum the theme song. so cute

that time we went to chuck e cheese for ten minutes.

we wanted to take you somewhere special for your birthday weekend. you said chuck e cheese so we got ready to go. your behavior wasn’t really cooperating and at least i managed to get a good picture before we headed out. ha! maybe next time your behavior  will be better. we have to go back anyways and use that $20 we spent on tokens!
