a wonderful cat

we got seymour the weekend we got back from our honeymoon in early december 2002. for the first few months, seymour and i didn't seem to get along.. the cat hated me and would run and hide and arch his back when he saw me.. he loved jim on the other hand.. for months the cat would seriously not sleep.. he would sit on the end table at night, paws dangling, and would stare at jim. all.night.long. i told jim for the longest time about his weird nightly habit..and how it creeped me out but he never believed me, that is until months later. we always laugh about that. slowly we began to bond, but seymour was always jim's cat. seymour loved noah beginning on december 31,2009, the day noah came home. seymour lived a good life, but in march, he got diagnosed with diabetes and ended up getting really sick and passed away on april 27th and now is in kitty heaven.

seymour was always there by noah's side... when noah was a newborn, crying all night.. to rolling on him.. to playing peekaboo.. to crawling, pulling his tail, to walking on his tail.. and finally to giving him a hug.

we miss you so much seymour.. we have so many good memories of you. you were an awesome cat.. and i miss you as i type this, because you were always by my side, late at night.. while i blogged.

zooo.. part three

for part of my mothers day gift.. daddy got us all zoo passes! so we can go anytime we want :) we made it out last friday... the weather was simply perfect. and they had the dinosaurs! noah liked looking at them and kicked back and ate multiple snacks and kicked back.. sounds perfect...

my mothers day

for mothers day we had my side of the family over...

we cooked out, ate, had cupcakes, and noah's favorite... watermelon!

he was so determined to put the paper on the baking sheet...

 

noah woke up a little groggy i.e. fussy! from his nap.. poor guy.

he wasn't himself for the pictures..

but he does look like the typical male in a picture though. hehe.

this is my second mothers day and every day with you is the best day.

i love watching you grow and learn new things. i LOVE being your mommy noah!

you make my heart smile all the time. you are my little angel...my silly monkey,

my snuggle bug, my wild and crazy, my joy.. my son.

i count my lucky stars that I am YOUR mommy.

God is good.

hoppy easter.. part two

after we went to nana and pap's.. we went over to mamaw and papaw's house for more Easter fun. n chowed down more and had pizza and his favorite.. watermelon. i swear when we left he was pounds heavier! and he wasn't too interested in the egg hunt.. he was in need of his nap.. maybe next year!

hoppy easter... part one

the easter bunny came and got noah lots of cool gifts! this year he got a little zebra.. closest thing the easter bunny could find similar to a cow (his FAV) some crayons, elmo video, animal crackers, some puff-puffs, some pj's, and some awesome noah's ark storyblocks.

after we played for a while, we ate our Easter lunch and noah pigged out with the 
mashed potatoes, ham, and rolls. then, we were done, noah decided to test out
the bubbles he got in his basket, he loves to chase them!
