chocolate chip ice cream with sprinkles on top

we ended our four day weekend with a little sale shopping for clothes for noah next year and treated noah to his first ice cream cone. i got him chocolate chip in a dipped chocolate sprinkle cone. he loved every single bite of it. i was afraid he would drop it but i think it was actually stuck to his hands. it was such a mess.. but he loved it. and he polished it off down to the bottom of the cone. and then i had to take his shirt off.. he was a sticky little monster.

park time

it has finally cooled off a little bit and we had to go out and feel the seventy degree weather because we forgot what it felt like. we went to the park to watch daddy fish and fed the ducks. he loved watching them and his daddy fish. i can't wait for this fall weather.. we've been waiting way too long for our park excursions.

donuts with elmo and mommy

noah loves sweets. anything coated in sugar and sweet, he's all in. to start off our four day weekend, mommy decided to take him to get his first donut. nom nom nom. he was so excited when we got there and i knew my favorite, chocolate sprinkle would be his favorite too. we had to settle for the white sprinkle but i don't think he knew the difference. he was so excited because the sprinkles were one of his favorite things, 'balls.' he kept repeating that over and over and pulled up a chair at the table. he was a bit reluctant at first so he got a little pinch to taste, then got a big smile on his face. he hardly ever finishes a meal.. but he managed to scarf the whole thing down. and elmo never left his side in the process of his devouring.

daddy's little helper

noah loves to help his daddy.. especially when daddy decides it's time for a tune up on his drums. noah loves when his daddy drums. note he has his own little snare drum in the background but doesn't seem to like it as well as the real thing :)

noah was helping him inspect underneath and loved to bang on them too :) he is such a good little helper!

the other night we ordered a pizza.. i walked away for um, 10 seconds, heard a loud noise and when i got back saw this...

noah's favorite thing to do is to COLOR! every time he goes in his playroom, he points up to his colors on the top shelf and keeps saying, 'yeah, yeah, yeah' and away he goes.. he makes wonderful masterpieces ;)

noah's first haircut!

well, we finally broke down and got noah a haircut! mommy was sad to see his little curls go! now he looks so grown up! he did wonderful! no tears at all.. they had dvds and he was so happy when he saw his favorite.. baby einstein!! he picked out the taxi cab to sit in. he didn't even seem to know he was getting his haircut! such a big boy!

splash pad take five!

noah LOVES the waterpark.. so far we've been 5 times and he loves it more and more each time we go. the first time we went, he couldn't get up on the slide without us helping him but the past few times he climbed up all by himself and slid down belly first! after he slid about twenty times, we had snacks and he even got his first ice cream bar! he loved it.. and loved watching the birds nearby.. that boy loves birds! and today i took him down the huge slide! mommy is waay to old to go down it but he loved it and then ran back and grabbed my hand to take him up again. i wish i had a picture of it but i'm sure we'll be back very soon :)
