after breakfast, we started to walk around and saw a line.. we looked at what it was for and what did we see but KEVIN and DOUG! we were all so so so excited! momma maybe the most. we quoted out our favorite parts. we told you to tell them about our halloween costumes. when it was your time to go, you walked right up not afraid and handed out your autograph book for russell to sign. you walked up to doug and said "i love you" which was a quote from the movie. and we all got in for some pictures. we were so happy that we got to meet them!!!
you were finally tall enough for a big boy ride... kali river rapids. we saw all the people get into our raft with ponchos and thought this couldn't be good. mommy doesn't like the wet rides much but did it for you. as i always will. you were busting out laughing saying mommy was going to get wet like a dog. then you were pretending to be scared as we were going up. you kept saying, "oh no, what's gunna happen?" it was the cutest. we then got really wet and then those dang elephants spit right on me and you. we were drenched. but would do it all over again.... which we did that very thing later that day ;-)
we stopped and got you your wilderness explorer guidebook where you earned your first badge.
momma and daddy wanted to ride everest. you did too but didn't quite understand why you couldn't. we each snuck away while one was watching you and distracted you with frozen yogurt. the ride was so much fun! maybe next time we go back you will be 44 inches and can ride (38 inches now).
we then went to the zoo to walk around and it was so neat! we stumbled upon a bugs life and went in to watch that. we heard it was kinda scary but you weren't scared at all. you loved every minute of it from getting spit on to drenched from one of those bugs.
little bugger.
we saw the line for mickey and minnie and had to do that. it was worth the wait. you walked up so well... so slow and holding minnie in one hand and mickey in the other. it made us both tear up. such a priceless moment. so special.
then to the safari!!! this was so much fun! it will be for sure the closest thing to africa. we saw lots of giraffes, hippos, elephants, a lion, and some ostriches. it was such a fun little adventure!
your behavior was so good that day that we went on the rapids again. this time we got ponchos but naturally didn't get as wet.
we then got a coke slurpee and watched it over the river.
it was such a magical day!
